How to Measure Your Body for Women's Jackets

When your'e shopping online for a leather jacket, knowing your body measurements is good idea to ensure you get your jacket in the right size. For example, Zara's sizing can be different than American apparel. 

For instance, a leather jacket fresh off an assembly line will be designed to fit as many people as possible. Sometimes jackets are designed to fit a certain body type. When it comes to looking your best, however, it’s not effective to wear everybody’s shirt. 

If a jacket from our size chart fits you, that's perfect. If not, get yours custom tailored by buying a custom jacket. 

Fullest Bust- Measure around the fullest part of the bust (do not puff up your chest)

Waist- Measure around the widest part of the stomach.

Hips- Measure around the widest part of your hips.

Biceps- Measure around the widest part of your flexed biceps

Shoulder- Measure from one edge of the shoulder to the other, across the back from shirt seam to seam.

Jacket length- Measure from the upper end of the shoulder where it joins the neck to the length required (you can use one of your own jacket)

Sleeve length- Place tape where sleeve joins body of the jacket and measure to length desired. (you can measure the sleeve length of your own jacket)
